Schools/Group Bespoke Sessions
We think outside the box, tailoring lessons to each individual child, and taking the time to genuinely understand the challenges your child faces.
Negotiating life with an SEND or neurodiverse child requires a deep level of care, patience and creativity - and our experienced swimming coaches and trained lifeguards are passionate about welcoming every single child to the water.
We know that the swimming pool isn’t just a place to learn essential life skills:
It’s also a place of rehabilitation and healing.
We specialise in helping children with disabilities to gain confidence in the swimming pool and experience its rehabilitative properties for themselves.
And our years as swimming coaches have taught us that not only does this dedicated support help children to flourish in the pool, but also to step into their full potential in every area of their lives.
Does your group need coaches with a deep level of understanding, patience and support?
Our Coaches
Julia Raines and Amy Jolly are the founders of Kernow Lighthouse.
Both are extensively-experienced swimmers from a young age, and have been involved in competitive swimming at international and national levels.
Not only do they have years of personal experience as swimming coaches, they are also certified Lifeguards.
Our coaches are driven by a lifelong passion for both the water and teaching children to swim, and it is this passion that is at the heart of Kernow Lighthouse.
But why are we so passionate about swimming coaching?
Some Kind Words …
